Sabit Akkaya Hair Stylist — Sea Pearl Marriott

Turnkey design + build of the Sabit Akkaya Hair Stylist salon inside the JW Marriott Sea Pearl Ataköy. Reception, cutting stations, the washing area, the waiting bar and the product display wall were resolved as a single composition.

The character of the space comes from the contrast between a green-and-white chequered marble floor and curved timber surfaces in walnut tones. A sculptural brass element on the reception axis, the brass hanging system above the bar and the illuminated round mirrors were tied together in the same metal language.

Curved walls, the counter, washing units and product shelving were manufactured bespoke for the project; the lighting was layered to give shadow-free light on the working surfaces.
